A fun read. Author was pretty funny. Finished in an evening. Took about 4 hours to read Talks about the different adventures he went on as a safari guide. Learned that if you are attacked by a lion, you should not run, but stand your ground, a lot of times they mock charge. Same with elephants. There is a way to tell if an elephant is mock charging or not based on their ears if I remember correctly. Some crazy stories. There was a mouse infestation. Like millions of mice. Guy got bit by a snake. Getting stuck in water with crocodiles. Getting lost in Botswana. The dangers of wildebeests. Lion prides essentially rule different areas. They essentially control the entire ecosystem. If a lion pride is wiped out of an area, it could mean huge change to the ecosystem. There was a story of two prides, one female lion was sleeping around with lions from another tribe, then the lions from the other tribe attacked them, pretty interesting.
