Incredible book. Incredible series. Without a doubt the best fiction I’ve read. Tried to read Lord of the Rings after this because I needed something to be as good as these books and I figured hey, everyone loved Lord of the Rings. NOPE. I may as well have been reading a roll of toilet paper. Honestly though, the Lord of the Rings kind of sucks. I just read the first book and its so lame. Just a bunch of jolly hobbits trouncing around in the woods meeting random weirdos. Morning Star was epic! Loved when Sevro attempted to kill himself to save Cassius and send a message. Loved the moment between Darrow and Cassius mourning Roque. The ending was incredible and perfectly tied up the trilogy.
