Going Clear

Decently interesting book. Scientology is clearly just as F’d as a cult as Jonestown or any of the crazy suicide cults. They hold people against their will, run crazy smear campaigns against people who try to leave. They lie about everything. The founder lied about basically every aspect of his life. People would be in manual labor camps, getting paid like $30 a week, while meanwhile Tom Bruise is basiccly getting scientologists as slaves and living the lavish life on their compounds. One guy who was punished was forced to mop the bathroom with his tongue. Or people would have to “run around” on their hands and knees in a room and get all these scars/cuts on their knees etc for no reason. The leaders of the church are absolute power mad, evil, loons. David Miscavige I believe is the leaders name right now. Full on psychopath. Book was kind of long as well. Little over detailed at parts but decent overall.
