The Cuckoo’s Egg

I had to create a page for this book because I can still say with confidence that to this day (June 2021), this book is still the most exciting/page turning non-fiction book I have ever read.

I still remember checking this book out from the library and starting it the same evening. I was not able to put it down until late at night and I finished it the next day.

If you somehow found this in my archives and are reading this, I highly recommend the book.

Without spoiling too much, the premise is an employee at a university is trying to track down a small payment reconciliation issue of around $1 that he noticed on the computer. In his hunt to reconcile the records, he stumbles across someone poking around online where they are not supposed to be.
